ABOUT
My name is Glen Gearing, and I’m a Mural Artist from regional South Australia.
Living in the Mid North and Yorke Peninsula areas all my life, my heart lies in the country. As a regional artist, nothing is more satisfying than painting murals and bringing walls to life for country people, in the towns and regions of the state that I love!
I enjoy painting a range of subjects including landscapes and seascapes, native flora and fauna, historical figures and scenes, local identities, music icons, and even television and movie characters. Whether you’re after a highly realistic style with a touch of nostalgia, some modern flair with geometric shapes and bold colours, or a whimsical or cartoon style, I adapt my work to suit each project so that your mural has the impact you’re looking for.
Being a huge fan of 1980s nostalgia and growing up in one of the best times in history, painting anything from this era is a massive passion of mine! If you’re also a massive fan on the 80s, please get in touch! I’d love to paint for you.
I paint every piece by hand, and I pour my heart and soul (along with my paint!) into creating art that is eye-catching, tells a story, and has feeling. To me, this is what being a true artist is all about, and it’s something that will never be replaced by artificial intelligence!
